Olympic Trials
Congratulations to Evan Fentress on his outstanding success in the 100 Butterfly at the Olympic Trials.
Evan improved his qualifying time by :00.76 seconds.
Of the 61 men who raced the 100 Fly, only three swimmers had bigger time drops than Evan did.
Red 1 & Red 2 Practice Schedule Change - Monday June 24:
Monday, June 24 Red 1 and Red 2 will practice 10:00 – 10:45 am on Monday, June 24.
No dryland training this coming Monday
Red 3 and Black 1 will have practice as scheduled.
Open Water Championships:
We have five swimmers entered in the Open Water Championships at Lake Snowden on Tuesday, June 25.
********* NEW INFORMATION for Tuesday, June 25 >>>>
Black 2 and Black 3 will have practice at Milford High School on Tuesday from 7:00 am to 9:00 am.
You may be a little crowded in lanes, but that's not a bad thing.
If you are not going to the Open Water Championships, you should attend this practice.
Open Water Championships 13-14 and 15 & Over Age Groups
Check-In Begins: 9:00 am (
Swimmers not checking in will be scratched)
Pre-Race Briefing: 9:30 am - (15 & over) 10:30 am (13-14):
Competition starts: 10:00 am (15 & over – 4 km) 11:00 am (13-14 – 3 km)
It takes about 2 - 2.5 hours to get there from Milford.
