Swim Meets:
 
MAST October Meet (October 14 – 16):  Thanks to everyone who was involved in the MAST October Invitational this past weekend.  While it is impossible to single out and acknowledge all of you who volunteered your time and / or food items please know that your help is very much appreciated, and we are deeply grateful to all of you.
 
On the meet page (which will migrate to “Past & Archived” on Wednesday) you will find Complete Meet Results and MAST only meet results.
 
RAYS October Invitational (October 21 – 23): The meet information, psych sheet and timelines are now posted on the MAST Events & Competition Page.  Please read the additional information from the meet hosts.
 
First, we will be competing at the Mason Municipal Aquatic Center. For those of you who have not been to the complex before, it is in Corwin Nixon Park behind the high school/community center. There are two buildings that we will utilize for locker rooms. The 18 and older locker room will be located in the west building while the 17 and under locker room will be in the east building (attached to the 50-meter pool). 
 
Second, there will be food truck/concession stand available during the meet. 
 
Third, we intend on having a prize wheel for the swimmers. More details on that to come.
 
Fourth, we will be running two pools for the entire meet. The pool that is on the flag end will be 9 lanes, while the pool on the scoreboard end will be 7 lanes. The continuous warm up lanes will be on the scoreboard end. This will be our first time running two pools, so we do expect some hiccups. Please bear with us. One of the big hiccups will be with the scoreboard. We currently have no way of displaying times for the second pool. We are working on that but please be aware and notify your parents ahead of time that this may be an issue. 
 
There are no changes from this point. We can accept deck entries to fill empty lanes only. We will not create new heats for deck entries. Deck entry fees are double the normal entry fee.
 
The heat sheet will be posted on meet mobile and we will post a PDF version to our webpage on Wednesday for parents to download.
