Hello MAST families,

A very happy Independence Day to everyone. It is hoped that you are able to celebrate this national holiday as second president John Adams recommended: “It ought to be solemnized with pomp and parade, with shews, games, sports, guns, bells, bonfires and illuminations from one end of this continent to the other from this time forward forever more,”

Keep your pets safe. Your dogs don't enjoy this celebration like we do, so please keep your dogs safe and secure.

MASTERS SWIMMING - Due to the July 4 ^th holiday, the Milford H.S. pool will not be open today after 12:00 pm.

Please pass the word along to your fellow Master's swimmers, I’m not sure if everyone received the e-mail. We will resume Master’s Practice on Wednesday.

TUESDAY - SOSL MEET at MARIEMONT: Tuesday, July 6 SOSL swim meet at Mariemont (finally a short commute!) Please make sure that you are signed up to race at Mariemont on Tuesday. The summer season is coming to a rapid conclusion - for most that last week of practice and competition will be next week.We have two more SOSL meets, the Ohio LSC Long Course Championship for those who signed up or the USA Swimming Sectional Chapionship at SPIRE Institue for those who qualified. Anyone who is not going to the Ohio LSC Long Course Championship should swim in the last SOSL meet on Thursday, July 15. After that we Erin and Evan Fentress will compete in the USA Swimming Futures Championship in Richmond, VA.

Looking ahead to the Fall / Winter Season (I know it seems like we just started summer) here are a couple dates to keep in mind.

Fall / Winter registration will begin on August 1.

We will again offer two stroke clinics prior to the start of the season. August 23 through 26 and August 30 through September 2 - times to be determined at a later date.

Fall practices will begin on September 7
