Weekly Update - October 31, 2020
Hello MAST Families,
These are the two most important items this week so this is a repeat of last weeks message.
Practice schedule changes on Monday due to the start of high school swimming and diving. The deadline for team suit orders is Monday.
- November practice schedule reminder – The practice schedule for all MAST practice groups will change on November 2. The schedule for MAST practices is not perfect but given the many constraints we have it is the best option for the team overall. It is hoped that everyone will adapt to the new schedule and all of our swimmers will continue to make the sensational progress we have experienced during the month of October. In addition, we are well aware that not all of our team members are in the Milford Schools however pool availability is determined by the Milford School District Schedule and we hope that everyone can attend as many practices as possible.

*Red 1 & Red 2 practices will officially end at 8:45 pm on Monday through Thursday but parent(s) of any swimmer who wishes to stay until 9:00 pm for extra 15 minutes for additional coaching should contact Coach Corey to let him know you want your swimmer to practice until 9:00 pm.

It's time to order team suits. Your team fees cover the cost of one team suit.
Please see the SwimVille Welcome Letter to register with SwimVille.
We have selected the TYR Agon this year. It fits exactly like our previous years' TYR suits.

This is the preferred method for ordering the team suit.
If, however, you do not know your size, you can try on sample suits at the SwimVille store in Ft. Thomas, KY.
Order deadline is November 2nd - Anticipated delivery of suits is November 25th - if ordered by the deadline of November 2nd.
3. Final thoughts for today. As our swimmers work hard to improve skills and swimming times it is inevitable that there will be swims that do not always turn out as hoped. This is a part of the learning process in all sports; in fact, sometimes the best lessons are often learned when one fails to meet a goal.
USA Olympic Gold Medalist and team captain Mia Hamm puts it this way. "Failure happens all the time. It happens every day in practice. What makes you better is how you react to it."
Keep working hard, keep learning and keep being tough. Good things are happening and we want all of you to be a part of them.
